What do you do when you’re stuck or what’s your creative advice?
When I’m stuck, I pivot to doing something really mundane instead. Chores if I’m home, and organizing files on my computer or email inbox when I’m in the office.
What’s the best idea you saw recently?
Fictitious narratives of computer-generated, virtual influencers like @lilmiquela amassing cultural relevance to impact people and brands IRL.
What would you like to plug?
Deep Under Ground (aka DUG) is this amazing art collective I joined in 2015. Founded in a Portland basement by four women of color hosting open mics, it has since grown to become a platform for several artists seeking a healthy and safe environment to grow in their art with a supportive community. DUG serves a multitude of purposes; from networking, performance opportunities, and artist promotions; to co-hosting an artist residency and youth arts program. Follow @deepunderground if you’re into it!
What tools or apps (digital or analog) can’t you live without?
Google Maps, Audible, and Twitter.
