This year, KFC wanted to bring back a holiday-themed bucket design in earnest. This year's design was created in partnership with illustrator, Nicholas John Frith, and included a social media contest for anyone purchasing the buckets to participate in. Prizes ranged from a Colonel Sanders nutcracker and Christmas tree toppers, to the beautifully designed holiday cards (also in partnership with Nicholas John Frith), complete with a unique KFC branded message in each.
