My position requires me to be detailed, organized and efficient. I often handle highly sensitive financial matters.

What do you do when you’re stuck?
My creative outlet is writing. When I am stuck, I stop, listen to music, or go for a walk and get back to it more refreshed.
What’s the best idea you saw recently?
I was recently in Guatemala and visited a women’s cooperative that produces textiles. These women were running a successful business with limited resources. It made me realize the capability and genius we have inside of us, especially as women when we have to take care of our family.
What have you learned lately?
Life is too short. Eat the cake. Buy the shoes. Travel. Being responsible doesn’t mean not living. Enjoy life when you can.

Books: The Color of Our Sky was a great book I read while on vacation. The story stayed with me even after I finished the book.

Business school and my capstone project have been dominating my mind a lot.
Guatemala has been on my mind a lot because I recently visited and the natural disaster that happened makes my heart hurt for the people.
What would you like to plug?
I am currently building a business plan for an African-inspired home décor business that has a socially conscious element where part of the money goes to help women out of poverty in East Africa.
